I’ve studied color theory and my conclusion is this: color is not black and white. Deep, I know. That’s what I’m known for, my insightful observations. I’m not one to wax poetic about such things so I’ll just leave you with my photo, “In The Moment” and you can analyze it yourself.

I shot this in downtown Los Angeles with model Kimber. It was a semi-spontaneous shoot, we planned on getting some street fashion shots but we didn’t know exactly where or what the specific style would be. Turns out we got several photos that we both were happy with.
The photograph above titled, “In The Moment” is one of the photos I reacted most strongly too. It was featured in the gallery exhibition, The Grandeur of Color 2026 at the MVA Gallery in Pennsylvania.
It also was selected for inclusion for publication in the Color Awards 2024 hardcover book by Dodho Magazine.
